A postulate, an axiom, or a dogma does not allow doubting the fidelity of what has been established as an undeniable truth. It must be taken on faith that this is so. After all, there is no doubt that the addition of two and three will add up to five, as well as finding more or less four sides of a square. This should not be taken on faith, as it is visible and no additional research is required. But a postulate, an axiom, or dogma is subject to mandatory doubt, for if they turn out to be far from the truth, then any proof based on their application will become insignificant. For Descartes, in the case of God, it became important to destroy doubts (Vrahimis, 2017).
